The Deeter Group announces the opening of our first American office
The Deeter Group announces the opening of our first American office, to be known as Deeter Group U.S.A. Deeter, a British company located in High Wycombe, has been a designer and manufacturer of special purpose printed circuit boards, controls, load measuring equipment, condition sensors and software for the European and Asian markets for the past nineteen years.
Located in Massillon, Ohio, the new branch's initial role will be to promote the group's lines of condition sensors, litz wire and magnet wire to the American market. Sales of these lines, which had for some time been available on a very limited basis to American OEM's, are expected to improve rapidly with the custom design capabilities and product support that the new office will be able to provide. Massillon was chosen because of its centralized location to the large number of manufacturers operating in the American Midwest.
Sales Engineer Craig Harnish, will be heading up the new office. Craig, a native of Ohio, has attended Stark State College and Kent State University and has degrees in Economics and Electronic Engineering. Craig joined Deeter December third, coming to us from Rexel U.S.A., the American division of the Paris based electrical distributor, and brings over fifteen years of experience in sales management, engineering and marketing to the group.
