We can then transform your idea into working prototypes by designing the electronics to meet the specification, creating a printed circuit board (PCB) layout to meet the physical constraints of a suitable enclosure, and writing the embedded software to bring the product to life.
Pre-production prototypes are usually manufactured for thorough testing by ourselves and the customer, with any changes to the design implemented before going into production.
Deeter has the manufacturing capability to meet the needs of the most demanding applications. Our modern manufacturing plant is fully equipped for automated surface-mount and through-hole PCB assembly.
We can assemble electronic circuit boards designed by ourselves or for customers who have a completed design and are looking for a manufacturer, from prototype quantities through to high volume.

Our facilities include:
- 2 surface mount ‘pick & place’ machines (see capabilities below)
- Re-flow oven using mixed IR and forced air convection
- Lead-free wave soldering machine for convectional PCBs.
Our state of the art ‘pick & place’ equipment:
- Places Chips up to 54mm & 80mm long components
- Has a large 460 x 410mm placement area
- Uses Chip types – 0603 (option) – SOP, PLCC, QFP, BGA, CSP, connector, and odd-form components
Testing is an essential part of the manufacturing process. Deeter prides itself on its capabilities in this area and can design test equipment to provide assurance that the finished PCB assembly has the correct components properly fitted to allow the product to perform correctly. Deeter works with its customers to develop the most appropriate and cost effective testing regime to ensure that every product functions to specification, with any failure information fed back to correct the manufacturing process.
